Residual funding from grants/projects has presented DNR the opportunity to announce additional funding to existing grantees. This will expand the number of vehicles to be converted and new grantees that are able to certify the purchase of CNG vehicles or conversion to CNG within the deadlines required by ARRA. This notice expands the Program Guidelines regarding multiple applications (page six) to allow more than one application for fleet conversions. The additional funding is for public fleets only. Existing grantees must submit a new application along with a budget for the additional vehicles along with documentation certifying delivery of vehicles and/or completion of conversions by February 28, 2012. The additional funding, if approved, will be amended to existing grants. New grantees must submit an application and provide documentation certifying delivery of vehicles and/or completion of conversions by February 28, 2012. New grantees must be prepared to comply with all ARRA requirements, including online reporting for the entire duration of the grant.
